Nestled in the heart of the Neighborhood of the Arts, School 31 Lofts claims one of Rochester’s most stylish addresses—caught in the pages of The New Yorker and hailed across top travel sites. School 31 Lofts is located within the storied Alexander Hamilton building— a magnificent public school-house constructed in 1919. Stephen Galvano and RCCM International had the foresight to acquire and repurpose the building in 1980. In the decades since, the building has had many iterations including RBC School of Theology— a college with a large international appeal. The building has also become one of the finest TV studios in New York, and one of the most recent additions is School 31 Lofts— which has quickly become Rochester’s premier boutique accommodation. It features all the stunning turn of the century architecture that made the building famous, contrasted by modern and luxurious accents and amenities. School 31 is also home to the filming stages of a national television Sit-Com! Don’t worry, the lofts are nicely tucked away from the action, but you just may run into one of the stars who often stay in the building during filming. The lofts also feature props from the show as well as artifacts from Rochester film making history.
